Who can I speak to about my board candidacy?

Board readiness exists on a spectrum, and the answer depends on your experience, goals, and timeline. We do not offer pre-membership candidate evaluations or assessments. To work 1:1 with our candidate advisory team to assess the types of boards that best fit your experience and goals, select the Coached membership tier.

Our team is happy to answer any questions you have about the BoardProspects platform or membership via email.

Which membership level is right for me?

We recommend Coached membership for first-time candidates or directors who are actively pursuing their next board role.

If you are a sitting director or a candidate who is very confident in your positioning and networking strategy, we recommend Core membership.

Free membership is designed for earlier-stage executives who are interested in learning more about board service.

Does BoardProspects membership guarantee a board placement?

No. We do not guarantee placements or a specific volume of opportunities. Board recruitment is relationship-driven, timelines vary significantly, an appointments often happen through private conversations. Our goal is to equip you with the tools to have greater agency in an often opaque process, and to support you in developing your readiness, relevance, and reach.

How many board opportunities are posted on BoardProspects?

BoardProspects is not a volume-driven job board. Board recruitment is relationship-driven and typically unfolds privately before – or if – openings are publicly posted. BoardProspects is built upstream of that moment, and we support a continuous, 360 degree approach to board recruitment, offering options to post roles to invite interest from our community or to search our database privately as they develop a long-term pipeline of board talent.

How do I cancel my annual membership? Are refunds offered on annual membership?

BoardProspects membership is on an annual basis, and you may cancel your next renewal at any time before your renewal date.

Due to the nature of the product and the immediate availability of all resources at the time you subscribe, we do not offer refunds on membership fees.
